Boat Fitter/ Rigger
Job Description

- Experience of:
- New build Power/ motorboat installations
- Power/ motorboat refits
- Outboard engine and ancillary equipment inspection, installation, commissioning, testing, servicing, winterisation and maintenance
- Electronics installations, commissioning and testing
- Domestic systems
- Tender and small boat assembly
- Trailer maintenance
The following attributes are desirable for this role for this role.
Experience of:
- Wood – decks etc.
- GRP – gelcoat repairs, colour matching
- Inflatable tube installation and repair
- Cleaning and polishing
- Antifouling
- Forklift trained (training can be given)
- Powerboat L2 qualified (training can be given)
Other duties include.
- Shows & Events
- Boat Handling / Launch & Recovery
- Towing
- Housekeeping of work areas
- Loading and off-loading equipment and boats
- Boat movements ashore
- Storage
