Berthon has a vacancy for a Parts Controller/storeperson to supplement our small stores team in a fast moving environment providing support for various projects in our modern facilities.
The following attributes are essential for this role:
- Proven track record in a fast moving high-pressure stores environment
- Quality control & good record keeping attributes
- Organised in stock rotation
- Material handling
- Good telephone manner
- Quick learner, able to work in a close team
- Good housekeeping
- Reliable with good timekeeping, Hands-on, active, helpful & friendly attitude
- Tools and safety equipment monitoring
- Fork lift truck licence (training given)
The following attributes are desirable for this role:
- Knowledge of or background in the marine industry
- Lean techniques
- First aid (training given)
- Ladder inspection, maintenance & erecting (training given)
Duties to include but not limited too
- Goods In
- Dispatch
- Quality control/Non Conformance/Inspection
- Customer returns
- Admin
- Counter service
- Supplying stock & kitting for shop floor
