We loaded the Gemini 650 in Lymington just after sunrise—spear guns, pole spears, rods, and a cooler packed with ice stashed in the forward locker. Fins, masks, and suits were tucked neatly inside the aft bench. With a light wind and calm water, we pushed off and cruised out to Scratchell’s Bay, tucked behind The Needles on the south-west coast of the Isle of Wight.
The 2-metre contour sits just 200m from the cliff face, offering a shallow, protected anchorage and rich waters for diving. Just offshore lies the wreck of the SS Varvassi—a haven for local anglers chasing conger, bass, skate, plaice, cod, pout, and pollack. We dropped anchor, suited up, and jumped straight in. It’s the kind of mission the Gemini 650 was made for.
Whether you’re hunting the reef or exploring wrecks, it’s not just a boat—it’s part of the adventure.

The Gemini 650 is purpose-built for serious spearfishing. With its deep-V hull, commercial-grade Hypalon sponsons, and open deck layout, it offers exceptional stability, smooth handling, and quick hassle-free access to the water—everything you want when chasing fish over reefs and wrecks.
Whether you’re heading offshore for pelagic targets or hugging the coast for inshore species, the 650 gives you the platform to do it safely and efficiently. Powered by a reliable 150hp Yamaha outboard, it delivers the right mix of power, manoeuvrability, and fuel efficiency.
The 650’s open layout includes a bench seat with integrated locker, forward anchor locker and seat storage, and four jockey seats to carry your crew and kit. There’s room to stow long fins, multiple spearguns, and a day’s worth of catch—without tripping over anything. The A-frame adds mounting options, while customization options such as A-frame mounted ladders, fish finders, GPS, T-tops for shade, and dedicated storage for spearguns, extra-long fins, and catch, give you the tactical edge.
Add a live well, drop in a Rokk wireless charger for your electronics, and you’ve got a spearfishing base that’s efficient, rugged, and ideal for the job.
